Tassonomia

Le caratteristiche di questo genere sono state determinate sulla base delle analisi effettuate sugli esemplari di mwfqMatua valida mwfgForster, 1979cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-1[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2007cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-2[1].

Attualmente, a ottobre 2015, si compone di due speciecite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-3[1]:

• mwjwMatua festiva mwkqForster, 1979 — Nuova Zelanda
• mwkwMatua valida mwlqForster, 1979cite-ref-2[2] — Nuova Zelanda
